What types of birds will use this nestbox?

This bird home is suitable for a variety of small bird species such as blue tits, sparrows, and nuthatches. The entrance hole size has been designed to attract these common garden birds.

How do I install the nestbox in my garden?

The Warble bird home should be securely mounted on a tree or wall, ideally between 2-4 metres high and facing away from prevailing winds. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight for long periods. Our unique bracket system makes this really easy.

Is the recycled wood weatherproof and durable?

Yes, the recycled wood used in our nestboxes is heat treated to withstand the elements, ensuring it provides a safe and long-lasting home for birds throughout the seasons. The roof is also treated with an oil to help it last even longer.

How do I maintain and clean the nestbox?

To keep the bird home in good condition, we recommend cleaning it out once a year, ideally in autumn when it’s not in use. Simply remove old nesting material and rinse with hot water – no chemicals needed. There is an access hatch in the back to make this a really quick job!
